Although it doesn't always work as fast as I'd like it to, I still love Excederin PM. If I have a headache or a sore throat or I just got my wisdom teeth out a few days ago and it still hurts like a bitch, I instinctively reach for those magic little blue pills.

See, the secret of this drug is that it doesn't really stop any pain, it just makes you so tired that you forget about the pain and instead drop into a deep sleep. I went to bed around 9:00 last night, perhaps the earliest I've gone to bed all year.

Although I could've taken the pain killers that were prescribed for my wisdoom teeth pain, I didn't really want to. I don't want to get addicted to some prescription drug. I don't really want to get addicted to anything, but what harm is there in a few little blue pills? <grin> Still, I don't recommend taking these things more than a few nights in a row. However, if you're feeling like absolute shit, just do it... knock yourself out!
