Plagiarism (2/21/1996)
I was thinking--- what if I'm reading some source and writing a report and in sections I paraphrase a little too closely to the original source? Then suppose that what I'm writing is only a rough draft.
What if I go back and revise my work and end up changing the paraphrased part which then ends up matching exactly, or very close, to the original? Uh-oh. That wouldn't be good.
What's the moral of this story? I dunno. Be careful when you write papers, I guess.
