Hey Brad,
I had a minor realization today about how we could improve the site
navigation somewhat. Right now, there is hardly any mention on the main page
of the site about communities... there is only the search - by community
listing. I was thinking that we might want to add "Your Communities" under
the "Your Settings" section.

When you click on the link for "Your Communities", it would list all the
communities a person currently has followed by icons for subscribing,
unsubscribing, adding to friends list. We could also add on a section
relating to e-mail notification of list posts... let people select either to
receive e-mail on every post as it comes or a once-a-day journal version,
html or text e-mail, etc.

After that, it could list  links for :
Create a community
Search communities
List all communities
LiveJournal Community page (/community.bml )
Community Frequently Asked Questions
 http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=63 )

There should also be modifications to the search and list all communities
page to allow you to subscribe / unsubscribe / add to friends list from
right from those pages.
